In the Long Run

In the Long Run is an awareness raising and fundraising project running along human trafficking routes and in areas which are vulnerable to a high level of human trafficking. Participants pay to take part, raise money and then run, and take part in awareness raising events. The project has run from Bratislava to Brussels, Sophia to Rome, Port Elisabeth to Johannesburg and across Ireland.

The project support Oasis’ anti-human trafficking work across the world and also gives a greater platform for local anti-human trafficking organisations to speak from.

The next planned ITLR event will be in Thailand. We were due to hold the event at the end of 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been postponed. We are working closely with a team from the Thai government and will be lead by them on the matter of when ITLR Thailand will now be held.
